Soft and warm, textured and beautiful. Everything you want in a
scarf, in Bolivian alpaca fiber. Hand-woven by village artisans of
Chojna Pampita, in black, gray and white.
Woven from alpaca fiber, this scarf is handcrafted by artisans in the
village of Katakora, Bolivia. The artisans have joined together to
create Chojna Pampita, an informal association dedicated to earning
income through sales of their knitted and woven alpaca products.
Alpacas are raised in the foothills of the Andes, near Lake Titicaca in
Peru and Bolivia. Their fleece is sheared and processed into the finest
quality fiber for weaving.
