This fabulous set of nesting candleholders is hand made from mango wood by artisans in Thailand. Three separate round candleholders designed to nest within each other for a really neat display. Inspired by traditional designs, this piece took many days to complete.
The mango wood is sourced from controlled sustainable mango plantations. When a mango tree reaches twenty-thirty years, its fruits are no longer good for eating. These older trees are harvested and replaced with younger trees in a process that protects the mango forests.
This item is fair trade, meaning, all artisans involved in its creation were compensated fairly and worked in a safe and comfortable environment.
