These are so adorable and when I saw them in the marketplace in Laos I had to get a few. They come in the four colors you see; pink, green, white and yellow. They are made by the Hmong artisans. You can read about my trip to Laos in our blog.
Laos is the landlocked country located next to Vietnam and Thailand in Southeast Asia. The Hmong in Laos are mostly poor, rural farmers, but the incredible hand-stitched handicrafts they create are bought up quickly at local markets, giving them crucial funds to improve their standard of living.
