Photograph taken on Del Ray Beach near West Palm, Florida in February of 2007. I have always marveled at the variety of shapes, colors and sizes of shells and rocks. I wanted to reverse the normal paradigm of big sea, tiny shells by taking a photograph that made the shells appear large and distinguished, and the sea small and blurred. Also interesting is the opposing contrast of the orange shells to the blue ocean.
